Automatically Collected Information
What our website collects on its own depends on the cookie choices you make. Without your consent, we collect only what is needed to serve and secure the site:
- Your IP address, which we convert immediately to a one-way hash and use only to rate-limit the voice demo and the staff login. We do not store your IP address in readable form.
- Your cookie and privacy preferences, stored in a cookie on your browser so we can honour them.
- Standard server and delivery-network request logs held by our hosting provider.
If you allow analytics or advertising cookies, we and the providers named in section 4 additionally collect:
- Browser type, device type and operating system
- Pages viewed, time spent on pages and referring website
- Date and time of access
- Advertising and conversion identifiers
You can change these choices at any time on our Your Privacy Choices page.
Voice Demo
If you start the AI voice demo on our website, we collect the first name you choose to enter, your microphone audio, and a transcript of the conversation. The audio and transcript are processed and retained by our voice provider, Retell AI. We store the call reference, the name you entered, and a one-way hash of your IP address so we can limit abuse. The name field is optional and the demo works without it.

TaskBlocking AI provides AI consulting, automation, and implementation services.
During these engagements, clients may provide confidential information including:
- Business processes
- Customer information
- Internal documentation
- CRM records
- Sales information
- Marketing data
- Employee procedures
- Company knowledge
We use this information solely to provide requested services.
Unless required by law, we do not sell, share, or publicly disclose client business information.
4. Service Providers and AI Platforms
These providers receive personal information when you use this website. Each acts as our service provider or processor, is bound by contract to use the information only to perform the service, and maintains its own privacy policy.
- Supabase — the database and file storage behind this website. Holds voice demo records and job applications.
- Vercel — website hosting and delivery. Handles standard request logs.
- Retell AI — runs the AI voice demo. Receives your microphone audio, the transcript, and the first name you enter, and retains the recording under its own policy.
- GoHighLevel — our CRM. Powers the chat widget, the enquiry and checkout forms, and the booking calendar. Receives whatever you submit through them.
- Resend — email delivery. Receives job application details so they reach our inbox.
If you allow advertising or analytics cookies, Google, Meta and LinkedIn also receive information about your visit. See section 6 and our Cookie Policy.
When we deliver AI consulting or automation services to a client, we may additionally use the following platforms to process that client's business information: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, Meta, ElevenLabs, HeyGen, GoHighLevel, Twilio, Zapier, Make.com and n8n. This list is kept consistent with section 11 of our AI Services and Responsible AI Policy.
5. Cookies
We use cookies to:
- Improve website functionality
- Remember preferences
- Analyze traffic
- Measure marketing performance
- Improve user experience
Except for the cookies strictly necessary to run and secure the site, we set cookies only after you agree. You can accept, reject, or change any category at any time using the Cookie settings link in our footer or on our Your Privacy Choices page, and you may also disable cookies in your browser settings.
Some features, including the chat widget and the embedded enquiry forms, will not function if you reject functional cookies.
Our Cookie Policy describes each category in full.
6. Analytics and Advertising
These tools run only if you allow the matching cookie category, and none of them loads before you have made a choice:
- Google Analytics 4 — aggregate website measurement. Requires your analytics consent. We operate it with Google Consent Mode, so your choice is passed to Google on every page.
- Meta Pixel and the LinkedIn Insight Tag — advertising and conversion measurement. Require your advertising consent. Using these means personal information is shared for cross-context behavioural advertising as California law defines that term. Section 13 explains your right to opt out, and you may do so before ever allowing them.
Google Search Console reports on how our pages appear in search results. It works from search data rather than from anything placed on your device, and sets no cookie.
We do not use Microsoft Clarity, session recording, heat mapping, or any tool that reproduces your individual browsing session.
7. Marketing Communications
With your permission, we may send:
- Newsletters
- AI tips
- Educational content
- Promotions
- Product updates
- Event invitations
- Company announcements
These communications may be delivered by email or SMS text message.
You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email, replying STOP to any text message, or contacting us.
8. Payment Information
Payments may be processed through secure third-party providers such as:
- Stripe
- PayPal
- QuickBooks Payments
- Other secure processors
TaskBlocking AI does not store full payment card information on our servers.
9. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months.
California law also treats disclosing personal information to an advertising partner for cross-context behavioural advertising as sharing, even when no money changes hands. If you allow advertising cookies, that is what happens with Meta and LinkedIn. It never happens unless you allow it, and you can withdraw at any time on our Your Privacy Choices page. Section 13 sets out the right in full.
We may share information with:
- Service providers
- Payment processors
- Website hosting providers
- Cloud storage providers
- Analytics providers
- Email marketing providers
- AI technology providers
- Legal authorities when required by law
- Business successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with or sold to any third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
10. Data Security
We implement commercially reasonable safeguards including:
- SSL encryption
- Secure hosting
- Access controls
- Password protection
- Encrypted communications where appropriate
- Regular software updates
- Security monitoring
No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure.
11. Data Retention
We retain information only as long as necessary to:
- Provide services
- Comply with legal obligations
- Resolve disputes
- Enforce agreements
- Maintain business records
In practice we apply the following periods, unless a longer one is required by law or needed to resolve a live dispute:
- Enquiries and CRM contact records — 3 years after our last contact with you.
- Client records, contracts and billing — 7 years after the engagement ends, to meet tax and accounting obligations.
- Job applications — 24 months from submission, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Voice demo records — the name and call reference for 12 months. Audio and transcripts are held by Retell AI under its own retention settings.
- Hashed IP addresses used for rate limiting — 30 days.
- Cookie and privacy preferences — 12 months, or until you change them.
When no longer needed, information is securely deleted or anonymized where practical.
12. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access your information
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion
- Request data portability
- Object to processing
- Withdraw consent
- Restrict processing
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
To exercise any of them, email Solutions@TaskBlocking.ai with enough detail for us to locate your records. We acknowledge requests promptly and respond within 45 days, and we will tell you if we need a further 45 days. Before acting on a request to know, correct, or delete, we must verify that the request really comes from you, usually by matching the details you supply against the records we already hold. We will not ask you to create an account to make a request, and exercising a right never costs you anything.
Cookie and advertising choices need no verification at all — set them yourself on our Your Privacy Choices page.
13. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
This section applies to California residents and supplements everything above. It uses the categories defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act.
Notice at Collection
Everything in this table is collected either directly from you, when you fill in a form or start the voice demo, or automatically from your browser as described in section 1. We do not buy personal information from data brokers.
| Category | What we collect | Why | Disclosed to | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Identifiers | Name, email address, phone number, company name, and a one-way hash of your IP address | Answering enquiries, delivering services, billing, security and rate limiting | Supabase, Vercel, GoHighLevel, Resend | 3 years after last contact; hashed IP addresses 30 days |
| Commercial information | Services you enquired about or selected, engagement and billing records | Providing and administering the services you asked for | Supabase, GoHighLevel | 7 years after the engagement ends |
| Internet or other electronic network activity | Pages viewed, time on page, referring website, advertising and conversion identifiers | Measuring the website and, where you allow it, advertising | Google, Meta, LinkedIn — only with your consent | Per the provider, typically up to 14 months |
| Audio information | Microphone audio and a transcript from the AI voice demo, plus the first name you enter | Running the demo you started, and quality and safety review | Retell AI, Supabase | Name and call reference 12 months; audio and transcript per Retell AI |
| Professional or employment information | Resume link, employment history, desired rate, and anything you add to a job application | Evaluating your application | Supabase, Resend | 24 months from submission |
| Inferences | None. We do not build profiles or scores about you. | Not applicable | Not applicable | Not applicable |
Sensitive Personal Information
We do not collect sensitive personal information as California law defines it. We do not ask for your government identifiers, financial account credentials, precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, union membership, health information, or the contents of your mail, email or messages. The voice demo records audio, but we do not analyse anyone's voice to identify them, so it is not a biometric identifier. Because we collect none, we have nothing to limit, and the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information does not arise. We also do not use or disclose personal information for purposes other than those listed above.
Selling and Sharing
We have not sold personal information in the preceding 12 months, and we do not sell it now. We do not sell or share the personal information of consumers we know to be under 16.
We share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising only when you have allowed advertising cookies. The categories involved are identifiers and internet or network activity, and the recipients are the advertising platforms named in section 6.
Your Rights
- Know and access — what we have collected about you, where it came from, why, who received it, and a copy of it.
- Delete — subject to the exceptions the statute allows, such as records we must keep for tax or legal reasons.
- Correct — inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
- Opt out of sale or sharing — at any time, with no account and no explanation.
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information — we collect none, so there is nothing to limit.
- No retaliation — we will never deny you service, charge you a different price, or give you a lesser experience for exercising any of these rights. We run no financial incentive programme.
How to Exercise Them
To opt out of sale or sharing, use the switch on our Your Privacy Choices page, or the Cookie settings link in our footer. It takes effect immediately on that browser and requires no verification.
For the rights to know, access, correct or delete, email Solutions@TaskBlocking.ai. Because we operate exclusively online and deal with you directly, California law lets us offer an email address as the way to reach us. We confirm receipt promptly and respond within 45 days, extendable once by a further 45 days if we tell you why. We verify your identity by matching what you give us against the records we already hold, and ask for more only where the request is sensitive and the risk of getting it wrong is real.
An authorised agent may act for you if they give us written permission signed by you, and we may contact you directly to confirm it and to verify your own identity.
Opt-Out Preference Signals
We honour the Global Privacy Control. If your browser or extension sends the GPC signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information and apply it automatically on arrival — you do not need to click anything, and we will not ask you to confirm. Because the signal is tied to the browser sending it, you will need it enabled on each browser and device you use. Where a GPC signal is detected, we say so on the Your Privacy Choices page.
Shine the Light
Separately, California Civil Code section 1798.83 lets California residents ask once a year for a list of the personal information we disclosed to third parties for their own direct marketing. We do not disclose personal information for that purpose. Requests may be sent to Solutions@TaskBlocking.ai.
14. European Privacy Rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process personal information based on one or more of the following legal bases:
- Consent
- Contract performance
- Legitimate interests
- Legal obligations
You may contact us to exercise your GDPR rights.
15. Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for businesses and individuals who are at least 18 years old.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
If we become aware that we have collected information from a child, we will promptly delete it.
16. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites.
We are not responsible for their privacy practices or content.
We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
17. Job Applicants
If you apply for employment or contract opportunities with TaskBlocking AI, we may collect:
- Resume
- Employment history
- References
- Skills assessments
- Interview notes
- Portfolio information
Applicant information is used solely to evaluate your application and, if we hire you, to begin onboarding. We do not sell or share it, and we do not use it to make an automated decision about you — a person reads every application.
For California applicants, this section is our notice at collection. The category involved is professional or employment information, together with the identifiers you supply. It is collected directly from you, disclosed only to Supabase and Resend so it reaches our inbox, and kept for 24 months from submission unless you ask us to delete it sooner. The rights in section 13, and the ways of exercising them, apply to applicants in the same way as to anyone else.
18. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your place of residence, including the United States.
We take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place when transferring personal information internationally.
19. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically.
Changes become effective when posted on this page.
The "Last Updated" date will reflect the latest revision.
20. Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and Mobile Privacy
Use of Phone Numbers
By providing your phone number on our website forms, you acknowledge and agree that TaskBlocking AI may contact you using automated telephone dialing systems, automated text messaging systems, pre-recorded messages, and interactive AI voice agent technology at the phone number provided.
No Data Sharing
Mobile originator opt-in data and phone numbers will strictly not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes.
Revocation of Consent
You may revoke your consent to receive automated calls or SMS messages at any time using any reasonable method. This includes:
- Replying STOP to any text message
- Verbally instructing our AI voice agent to discontinue calls
- Emailing solutions@taskblocking.ai with your opt-out request
- Contacting us using any method listed in the Contact Us section below
Consent to receive automated calls or text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.
